This program is a port of the original Eponyms database (database courtesy of Dr. Andrew Yee with permission) specially formatted for WebOS.

Eponyms for WebOS additionally allows you to search the Whonamedit.com and Wikipedia sites for more information. There is a handy search button for every Eponym in the database which takes you to this search page Random Eponyms can be viewed by button press.
**New in 2.1.0 : Added Random button in result (second) screen so you don’t have to go back to the main list. Had to add a dummy Search command button in the main screen to tell some of you how webOS list search works.
** New in 2.2.0 Added Category filters. Note that the Random button will be restricted to the new Category list. You can reset the list to ALL.
** New in 2.2.8 Complete coded re-write. Buttons are re-designed. Shake for random has been replaced by a Timer. Exhibition mode supported for devices running on webOS 2.0 and above.
